Bryant takes on leadership role on newly-created Senate committee

State Senator Terri Bryant (R-Murphysboro) has been appointed to serve in a new leadership role as the Minority Spokesperson for the Senate Behavioral and Mental Health Committee in the 102nd General Assembly.

“It is an honor to take on the new responsibility as the Minority Spokesperson for the Senate Behavioral and Mental Health Committee,” said Sen. Bryant. “In the 58th District, we have a number of mental health facilities that need representation at the state level, and I’m looking forward to working with my colleagues to ensure that members of our mental and behavioral health community have a voice in the Senate.”

Senator Bryant has also been appointed to serve as a member of the Agriculture, Education, Ethics, Executive Appointments, Health, and Hospitality & Tourism committees for the 102nd  General Assembly.
